What impact would those points have? It's a tournament. Either you advance/win or you don't. If there's still a tie after one OT then NCAA recognizes it as a tie no matter what happens.

Just got through reading the manual for the GLI. The consolation game has been changed due to time constraints, and can now end in a tie. All three other games will end in a shootout if necessary.

Week 13 is up even though it's still holiday tournament time. League games start up on Thursday of this week so I want to give everyone as much time as possible to submit picks. Week 12 results will be posted at the conclusion of the GLI.

The week 12 holiday tournament co-winners were Critical Thinker and Icd80 who posted scores of 27 points each. At the top of the standings it is rapidly becoming a two-person race for the McNaughton Cup between Bronco Hockey Fan and SweeneyHawksHockey and a three-person race for the Mason Cup between those two and GIWAN. I also want to point out how mikeeddy19 has steadily worked into a playoff position after spotting the field nearly 30 games.
Reminder that the first Bemidji at BG tee time is 7:37 this Thursday so get those picks in.

Note: I just noticed that for last week Beaver Hockey Fan in NH, giwan, and Mavsfan19 posted entries prior to the Friday games. These scores will be included in the results I post on Sunday. Sorry I didn't catch that sooner. Good news is it did not affect the weekly winner.

Big update this week, I apologize for the length. First off, you will find the playoff rules below the weekly standings.
The winner of week 15 was cajunuahfan who posted a score of 25 points including 7 bonus points. BroncoHockeyFan rode the bonus wave back into a first place tie with SweeneyHawksHockey who still clings to a 2 game lead in the quest for the Mason Cup. The average GWG time in the UAA/UAH series was 32 min (rounded down) while the total PP, SH, EN, EA goals was 18. potternum claimed 9 bonus points which led the bonus picking.
Full slate of games for week 16 so no bonus. I added two more columns to the weekly standings: Playoff points behind (points needed to make the field of 32) and Playoff % (percent likelihood of making the playoffs based on 100 simulations).

The fight for the Jeff Sauer championship trophy starts up in less than two months.
Playoff Seeding
Due to this year’s expansive field, the top 32 players will make the playoffs. Matches are head-to-head, single elimination with snake seeding for bracket pairings (1 vs. 32, 2 vs. 31, etc.). Seeding and tie breakers are determined in the following manner based on regular season results:
1) Total Points (including bonus)
2) Points (excluding bonus)
3) Total Points earned during the final 2 (or 3, or 4, or…) weeks of the WCHA regular season including bonuses until the tie is broken. Basically the “hotter” player down the stretch is favored.
Playoff Rounds
o First round will be based on the Friday, March 8 WCHA Quarterfinal playoff games with bonuses (4 games total, field reduced from 32 to 16).
o Second round will be based on the Saturday, March 9 WCHA Quarterfinal playoff games with bonuses (4 games total, field reduced from 16 to 8)
o Quarterfinals will be based on the Friday, March 15 WCHA Semifinal playoff games with bonuses (2 games total, field reduced from 8 to 4).
o Semifinals will be based on the Saturday, March 16 WCHA Semifinal playoff games with bonuses (2 games total, field reduced from 4 to 2).
o The championship matchup will be based on the WCHA Championship game on March 23 plus bonuses.
Scoring
