The winner of Week 8 is SweenyHawks with a score of 26 followed closely by Deejpuck who posted 25. mbenecke's lead is now down to 4! SweenyHawks also takes over the lead in the race for the Mason Cup with a pick percentage of .691 (minimum of 64 games).

Am I the only one that can't click on the link to the WCHA pick Em Standings in TalonsUpPuckDown's posts? I went back through the pages and can't see any standings either.

SweenyHawks and WiHuskiesFan nailed the bonus this week with a guess of 16 PPGs, SHGs, and ENGs. SweenyHawks bonus pick has boosted him into a first place tie with mbenecke who had been alone at the top of the leaderboard for quite a while. New sheriff in town. At the other end of the scale we have 4 contestants within 5 points of that last playoff spot currently held by Birds of a Feather. Plenty of games left.

Governor's Cup; bonus is SOGs for the weekend.

Yep, 10 point bonus this week (it mentions the points in the form). And as you can imagine it didn't take long for me to get a panicked PM from said poster asking what to do about the 400 SOG typo.

Week 10 results: Mich Tech 64 won with week with a total score of 32 points and moves from 18th to 12th in the standings. What's remarkable is that in addition to pocketing 5 bonus points, Mich Tech 64 correctly guessed the winner of all 10 games this week! Stick tap for that move. Speaking of pocketing bonus points, crossjcek and GoNanooks correctly guessed 106 SOGs in the Alaska Governor's Cup this weekend and picked up an additional 10 points. At the top of the leaderboard, both first place contestants ended up picking the exact same teams for all 10 games this week. However, mbenecke's clutch bonus picking has allowed him to open up a 6 point lead over SweenyHawksHockey who still leads in the race for the Mason Cup. They say true champions will find a way to win. We'll see about that.

No bonus this week.

This lists each contestant and the team they have picked most often through 10 weeks (their Pick 'Em go to "favorite"). Only Icd13 has picked MSU the most times. You will have to cut down on picking Tech in order to bump MSU to the top of your favorites list if you want to represent.

I'm delighted to see that SweenyHawksHockey's favorite team to pick is BG. Roll Along -- For Love and Honor! I was also surprised that Mich Tech 64's go to team is NMU.

That might seem odd, but once you factor in the number of games played it makes a little more sense.

Games Played:

20 - Ferris State, Alaska
19 - Bowling Green, Michigan Tech
18 - Northern Michigan, UAH, Lake State
16 - Minnesota State, Bemidji, Anchorage

Bowling Green and Tech have the most picks, but pickers have had the opportunity to pick them 3 more times than Minnesota State.

Week 11 saw seven co-winners correctly pick the home team to sweep all 8 games. Shout out to mbenecke, SweeneyHawksHockey, TalonsUpPuckDown, Birds of a feather, potternmu, Laker Dude, and USCHO Sean for your 23 point week.

Week 12 is on tap with a couple of holiday tournaments after the Christmas break. With two WCHA teams in the GLI I've split the second round picks into the various games that could result after the first round. Select winners for all the combinations and I'll use only the game(s) that are actually played. Hopefully this isn't too confusing.
