Week 2 results are in. Top 5 spots are held by 2 Beavers, 2 Falcons, and 1 Husky. mbenecke and potternmu won the week with 30 pts. each. I proved to everyone that I'm not cheating by finishing last this week with 15.

Adding a twist for Week 3. 10-pt bonus question, total SOGs in the Alaska Governor's Cup (both teams, both days). Subtract 1 pt for every number you're off. Can't go negative.

If you're the contestant that posted the following picks at around 10:30 last night either respond with your screen name or resubmit your pick. I neglected to force you to enter a screen name on the form (since fixed) and your picks are, at this point, nameless. Need some help here, and sorry for the bug.

Can we get access to our picks once they are sent to you? It says to view responses you need permission? I sometimes forget later in the week which team I picked on Friday or Saturday.

Week 3 is in the books. Mr. Bleacher Creature himself, mbenecke, was the big winner with a total score of 42 points including pocketing all 10 bonus points with a correct pick of 102 SOGs in the first round of the Governor's Cup. Most of us picked well north of that number apparently thinking that Alaskans are better shots than they actually are. Well, I suppose not everyone can be Alaskan Bush People. The top 5 includes one Falcon, two Beavers, and two Huskies. I'm bringing up the rear of contestants who have at least 40 picks. BG guys are in first and last. Kinda like the way our team plays.

Week 4 standings are in. Congratulations to the tri-winners this week: klbaum, Laker Dude, and TUPD. Rookie Bleacher Creature mbenecke extends his lead slightly over Soulbeaver while John J. MacInnes moves into a tie for second.

Everyone's favorite, bonus pick, is back next week.

Here's a link to the calculator. Mar runs a pretty straightforward pick 'em so I added the calcs for the 3-on-3/shootout and the bonus questions that you and potternmu have been doing. I don't have a calc for time related bonus questions like time-of-goal but will probably add that in at some point. I keep everything in Google Sheets because I travel for work every week and it's easier for me to access but Excel will also work. PM me sometime and I can walk you through the process of creating the Google form for the picks.

You'll need to keep the BG color scheme (no switching to Laker blue! ;)).
