Real bummer. He showed remarkable improvement in Sioux City from his first year to his second, with increased points and leadership, and decreased penalty minutes, and it looks like he did the same for BGSU. Seemed like he was poised to make a real leap. Still hoping for the best for him, and that he can make that leap this year or next.

You haven't watched your Division I hockey program win just one of its last 38 D-I contests. One. Just one tie, too. Four D-I wins in 10-11, two in 11-12, and one last year, with none in nine tries to-date. We suck right now.

Under normal circumstances I'd be OK with a tie on the road against a tough team like Ferris...BUT when you're up 3-1 with less than 4 minutes to play, WOW, we let a point slip away.

Went from Motte stealing a game to what should have been a win to just a disappointing tie, great game to watch but it was a full run of emotions in the 3rd.
