Greatness can have multiple component values that add up to the same result. I was just describing UW's ticket to greatness in the last 10 years. Those other teams you mentioned also have their own component values as to why they are great.

The five starters played 40, 34, 33, 32, 28 minutes.

Jarmusz averages 22 minutes...played nine off the bench.
Brusewitz averages 7 minutes...played five off the bench.
Wilson averages 12 minutes...played six off the bench.

Fail.

Returning to tonight's game, the $20 question is if the Gophers will show up or give us a Kevin Bacon moment - "Thank you sir, may I have another." Given the team's recent history, I am betting on Bacon.

The same reason the team with by far the most NHL draft picks in the NCAAs and the highest paid coach in college hockey can't secure home ice let alone a trip back to their own backyard for a postseason?
