WCHA First Round Game 2 - Minnesota State at Denver - Saturday 3/12/11

Gunning For 10
No. 6 Denver (22-10-5) hosts Minnesota State (14-17-6) in the second game of the first round of the WCHA Playoffs tonight and game three tomorrow (if necessary). Puck drop is set for 7:07 p.m. MT on Saturday, March 12 and 7:07 p.m. MT on Sunday, March 13 (if necessary). The remaining games will be webcast live on Pioneer Vision and broadcast live on 87-7 The TICKET. Live stats, blog and audio can be found on www.DenverPioneers.com.

Last night DU had a dramatic come from behind 4-2 win after trailing MSU 2-0 after 2 periods. Kyle Ostrow (1 goal), Beau Bennett (1 goal) and Shawn Ostrow (2 goals) keyed the DU third period goal barrage. If DU wins tonight they advance to the Final Five in St. Paul next weekend.

Same players as last night but Mermis and Jackson moved to 4th line with last night's hero, Shawn Ostrow, put on his brother's line and Knowlton up on Nick Shore's line.

That's one! In case you missed it last night--Rylan is older (according to a Mavs fan), but TJ is taller. So little brother is at leadt partially correct.

First time I've been on the forum in a while. I'm stuck at work no broadcast on FSN so I'll be watching the forum tonight.
