It is possible for DU to win a National Championship without winning on a Friday night. It is unlikely and depends on which regional we go to and when we play but it's possible for DU to do it. We can win tomorrow, win Sunday, lose on Friday, make the tournament, and if we get a Saturday-Sunday regional win both those games, win the Thursday semi-final and win the Saturday final. Or we could just start winning every game we play; either one is OK with me.

Yep. We are in the tournament right now. Heck, I think it was '04 when CC smoked us in the WCHA first round and we didn't even go to St. Paul, yet won the NC.
And, yes, the Frozen Four games on on Thursday and Saturday.

I was at both of those games and it was not one of the high points of my time as a student. In the end, it was worth watching that live to be able to experience DU winning a championship but that was an awful weekend.
