Cc with some crazy rebound flying puck pipe action but can gat it home. Then Taft with a nice goal, 2-1 Bucky 12 left in the second.

Does the Broadmoor trophy go to the NCHC after this season? It was commissioned by the Broadmoor Hotel and resides in Colorado Springs. Long time relationship between CC and the Broadmoor and the NCHC headquarters are located on part of the Broadmoor complex.

Huge save by Howe leads to a break and goal for cc. If cc comes back, that was the play. Should have been 4-1, instead 3-2 Bucky after 2.

It was a gift to the WCHA, so it is staying.

No, trophy was a gift to the league, not CC. Stays with WCHA. Will be a bit ironic having a trophy with the Broadmoor hotel - in the headquarters city of the NCHC - going to the WCHA champ. Here's the Gazette article: http://www.gazette.com/articles/trophy-131373-broadmoor-won.html

sorry wasn't posting much earlier. the kids are gone to an overnight sleepover so the wife & I went to a dinner that didn't involve chicken nuggets...
