WCHA Championship: Wisconsin vs. CC for the Broadmoor - And a NCAA bid

Re: WCHA Championship: Wisconsin vs. CC for the Broadmoor - And a NCAA bid

Congrats to Wisconsin for playing a smart, solid hockey game and taking home the Broadmoor trophy. As much as I would have loved to see CC win it, the Badgers were the more deserving team tonight. They took advantage of the opportunities they got to grab and hold the lead, and then kept the Tigers at bay down the stretch. I'll be honest: I really dislike Mike Eaves, but I can't deny that he did a fine job of bringing his team back from a rough start, and has everyone playing well heading into the NCAA tourney. Good luck going forward...

Congrats to the Badgers on a great , and improbable, run. Rumple played great and they fought hard. CC deserves a lot of credit for fighting hard too, and Howe was outstanding.

So it's a nice way to close out the WCHA for Wisconsin. Nicer yet to not have to sweat out the selection committee Sunday night.

Now if they can get their anemic PP fixed they can do damage, if not an early exit is likely.
