I'm not certain if the same roster limits apply for the playoffs. As for the regular season, I've seen it done both ways. It helps if you have a versatile player who can play forward and D.Shouldn't the coach be able to make that decision for himself instead of being forced to basically suspend a player for 2 games?
So say someone gets suspended for the first game of the wCHa playoffs? And he plays for a team that happens to draw playing at Alaska, should that player not be able to travel to Alaska with the team if he would be expected to play in game 2 and game 3 if necessary?
