WCHA 2010-11 Schedules Collaboration

Re: WCHA 2010-11 Schedules Collaboration

That was stupid, I had BU as listed in the shillelsfbsahesfha tournament, too. Will update that and CC U-18 in a second.

Hey Yager, great job on the schedule grid.

I got my tUMD season ticket order form in the mail yesterday and tUMD added the U-18 team on Saturday, Jan 8, 2011. That will be the second game at the DECC expansion arena.

You live in Milford??? Is Milford still home to Camp Dearborn??

Sweet, I'll update the jpg later. And yes, Camp Dearborn, the GM proving grounds, and Kensington Metro Park, among many other things.

Re: WCHA 2010-11 Schedules Collaboration

Another thing is that the US-U18 team is going to UND on Saturday 12/18 so most likely they will play another team nearby. My guess is SCSU or Bemidji since they aren't busy that weekend. However, they could just play Fargo or Sioux Falls while they are out there instead. Anyone know anything on this?

Update: A small Fairbanks newspaper inaccurately reported RIT attending this year's Kendall Classic. From what I have heard, the real participant should be Air Force.

Nice work Yager.

With the unbalanced schedule, some teams are going to have much easier schedules than others. But when I added up DU's schedule it just turned out that DU's opponents win percentage was just .520 this past season. In other words pretty close to .500 .

Including non conference opponents (minus the tournaments), SCSU's opponent winning percentage for next season is .562. The potential tournament opponents have a combined winning percentage of .584. Is that the most difficult schedule in all of college hockey?

EDIT: FYI, the combined winning percentage of all the NCAA Tournament participants is .632... for comparison.

Re: WCHA 2010-11 Schedules Collaboration

Thanks. It has now been updated to reflect Mankato schedule and I took out the home and home games (this corrects the SCSU schedule). Also, I made some assumptions.

Just a reminder, you can see all my WCHA sources and rotating cluster/travel pairings info here and the schedule here

We're almost there, keep the info coming.

Very interesting that Tech is on the road for the first weekend in February, which is the traditional weekend for Winter Carnival. I would have thought Tech had the right to reserve a home series for that date.

Winter Carnival is February 9-11, 2011, or the home BSU series...

Carnival is typically the first full week of February.
