That cheer is probably the most disrespectful thing I've experienced in all my roadtrips. It's your prerogative to continue it but the song you disgrace in order to continue your childish cheer is far more important than the fight for a "hostile and abusive" nickname.* The history of the Great Plains is irrelevant, you and your fans show a lack of respect for the country we live in and those who have their lives so that you and the rest of us living here can be free.

*The NCAAs words not mine, I've always thought the NCAA had no business telling UND to change their nickname.

A good portion of the country you and I love so dearly was stolen from the Sioux. What's so respectful about that? The politically correct NCAA is nothing but a bunch of liars and hypocrites!

By the way, did you know that the whole controversy was started by a few socialist professors at UND? Now there is diversity, Hitler style... wipe out any remnant of the great Sioux nation. First the name, then the highway patrol signs, then the county road identification signs, then the river and tributary names. Some respect for native Americans... destroy tradition in the name of diversity.

Once again... the NCAA can take the name away in your eyes...but not from ours!

Since the Huskies got swept by UND in the middle of December, the Huskies have had a better GF/P (3.35 vs 3.17), GA/P (2.41 vs 2.50) and very respectable 8-8-1 record compared to UND's 9-5-4 record since...and our schedule didn't include two games with Holy Cross. Keep calling Michigan Tech garbage and we'll see just how much your expectations stink by the end of the weekend.
