What a great game! Capacity + crowd that was rewarded by good play by the Blugold's. Stevenson played flawlessly = shutout.

The Blugolds come out of the weekend with two more wins, Stephenson played very well. This has been a very fun season!

Great weekend clinching the WIAC Championship and a portion of the NCHA Championship! Keep it up Blugolds it has been a lot of fun to watch!!!!

Sure, I would think you'll get a WIAC banner in there and most likely the final NCHA men's regular season banner too. Deservedly so.

Beyond that though, we'll have to wait and see...

Congratulations Blugolds!!!! Way to rebound after your worst loss of the season (by goal margin) on Friday and win the NCHA outright on the road against Superior on Saturday!! Good luck with playoffs and I hope you guys continue to be a team of school / program firsts!!!

Hobbs will be rockin' tonight! I heard rumor that they have pulled in extra bleachers for this weekend. It should be loud!

Unless the layoff and thinking too much about the pressure of being a favorite somehow gets to your team I see a relatively easy win tonight. I'm thinking a 3 goal 4-1 or 5-2 type game.

Sorry I underestimated your team saying they'd win by 3 goals...or perhaps I underestimated River Falls' ability to roll over this time of year.

I'm confident the Blugolds are safe and will get in. From there who knows. I felt like the poll rankings are accurate that I was watching two of the top 4 or 5 teams in the country play last night but I'm fairly confident one or both will be in a play-in game on Wednesday. If they ship Adrian East someone between UWEC and SNC will get a raw deal to have to play on Wednesday against St. Johns and then travel to the other team's building on Saturday.

Hats off to St. Norbert, they were the better team last night and earned the 3-0 win and keep their tight grip on Peter's Cup :-). Fingers crossed the Blugolds have done enough to earn a bid. If the panel does its job I believe the west should have two games in the quarter finals next weekend with both St. Norbert and Eau Claire hosting. The Blugolds may have lost, but I hope losing to one of the best teams in the country (while owning a 2-1-1 season series advantage) in the Conference Championship holds a lot of weight when the powers that be meet tonight. Obviously I am as biased as any other DIII fan is about the team I root for, but I believe when all of the factors are applied it points to a bracket similar to the one posted on the other website. Time and second hand smoke will tell! Good luck Blugolds, and I hope you were able to take away some valuable lessons from the Green Knights last night!

UWEC may get the #1 seed. No quibbles here if it does. But the pairings will have more to do with geography than bracket integrity.

If all four west teams play each other - either in the first round or quarters - count on SNC hosting Adrian and UWEC hosting St. John's becuase the NCAA won't fly Adrian. And the only west team they can bus to is SNC.

The seeding will matter if Adrian is shipped east, in which case the #1 seed won't play until Saturday - with #2 hosting St. John's in the play-in.

Congrats on the berth! I probably don't blame you if you aren't thrilled about having to play Wednesday. We can sympathize because we've had to do it as the undisputed #1 seed in the West previous years.

C'mon folks, fire up here! 2 victories over teams you've already proven you can beat and your team gets to skate on the hallowed ice at Lake Placid! Even though it will make SNC's road tougher I'll be rooting for you tonight.

The question your team has to decide is they are CLOSE to the prize - you how bad do they want to step up and win itl!
