I know, I know, I agree blowing off steam is good. I am 21 and go out 3 times a week on average. That said, if I was playing for the badgers, I would not be doing that.

I think you would. If you didnt go out drinking with the team, it would only cause problems.
Id say the main cause has been just sloppy play. Ive seen plenty of times when the Badgers would mishandle the puck (miss a pass or turn the puck over), which resulted in a lot of missed scoring opportunities or resulted in giving the other team a chance for a breakaway and an easy score.
As far as my neg rep, I made a silly geek speak post in response to someone in this forum who just took one negative word from the previous post and then just more or less added "Bucky fans are" to it. I was thinking, "Geez. I don't mind being disparaged, it's often quite fun, but at least put some thought into it." My response went whooshing by most and next thing you know 6 longtime posters, not in the thread, or that I've ever seen, gang rep me with comments I'm sure their mothers would be quite proud of. In retrospect though I should have just written "please, let's all just try a little harder."
On the bright side, twice as many very nice posters have also pos repped me so I'm not too far down. (Apparently rep power isn't uniform?)
At any rate, I prefer to think of it as Cardinal.

It's funny, being a UMD fan. I don't really hate the Badgers (yet). I do hate the Packers with a passion however.It's coz the Gopher fans are bunkered down and hiding in their own thread in shame coz of their hockey team and ol' Chuck and Choke.
