Sounds like Eddy's "head-butting" penalty was garbage.
He apparently got his helmet locked with a Badger and when he pulled free, the Badger lost his balance and fell.
Thankfully he'll be able to play tonight.
Festler didn't play the 3rd with an injury, may not play tonight.

Excellent. Can the Huskies play hard 2 nights in a row? Yes, they can, but I'm not expecting 7 goals again tonight, probably more like 5 or 6.

If My recollection serves me well that's 14 goals we've scored on Bucky in the last two games - a dozen wings! Let's go for 18!

I think the other team might have had something to do with it, considering they scored seven times.
I didn't really understand why the coaches picked St. Cloud to finish 9th. They didn't lose that much from last year and going into last season people thought they had enough talent to be 5th in the nation. Aside from the NMU series, the Huskies have played pretty well and I think this team can finish 4th behind CC, DU and the Gophers.

I wouldn't discredit UNO either, but we can finish ahead of really ANY of them. And I'm sorry, but MTU isn't as good as people think. Barely swept a raw and down UW at home, had a very good weekend against DU (minus Brittain) at home, can only score one on Mankato last night??, and got no points against Bemidji. Vastly improved (and for once healthy)? Yes. But I say they still won't win home ice.

Tried this on the Wisconsin season thread, didn't get a response, trying it here too.

Anyone have any issues with the Doubletree Hilton at 525 W. Johnson? Compared it to University Inn, seems like a much nicer place with a pool, same basic area, almost exact same price. Any reason not to book rooms there?

It's a conspiracy.. McCloud and Shepherd are mad cause we're leaving the WCHA, after saying we were staying. So McCloud tells Shepherd to assign refs that have no conscience for stealing games.

First penalty deserved 2 minutes.

The second penalty usually does not get called with 1 minute and change remaining in a game. Very questionable

This is the best overall skating Huskies team I have seen in a long time.

Losing Drew really sucks. Need someone to step up now big time.

I saw that play on tv and it was just another example of refs who have no idea what they are doing, but what else are we to expect?

The St. Cl tv folks showed the broken leg/ankle replaty WAY too many times. It was obvious after the first replay it was an ugly injury. The funny thing is that Saterdalen dude thought he hurt his wrist, I was like "are blind and dumb old guy"?
