UVM Recruiting: The future of Catamount hockey

Re: UVM Recruiting: The future of Catamount hockey

BCHL season is over, so time to take a look at another UVM recruit's numbers:

Max Kaufman - FW - Langley Rivermen
Stats:
47 GP, 31-24-55, 20 PIM

Kaufman improved by 3 points despite playing 11 fewer games this season, which bodes well. He's going to UVM next year no matter what (unless he decommits) as he's aged out of junior.

Comparing with the final season of current UVM forwards who played in the BCHL, since i know everyone's gonna ask:

Blanleil - 52 GP, 8-21-29
Puskarich - 55 GP, 41-48-89
Coughlin - 54 GP, 20-40-60
McKinney - 34 GP, 9-7-16
Puffer - 58 GP, 29-29-58
Shaw - 54 GP, 38-32-70

OJHL regular season is over, UVM only has one recruit there, but holy mother of god GET HIM HERE ASAP.

Bryce Misley - FW - Oakville Blades
Stats:
46 GP - 26-36-62 - 14 PIM

This dude is a freaking monster. While he's only tied for 17th in the OJHL scoring charts, keep in mind he missed a chunk of time due to the World Junior A Challenge (his PPG pace would have him in the top 10). He's probably going to get drafted this summer. Oh and he's only 18. And he's 6'2 which helps a team that really lacks size.

Here's a description by @StevenEllisNHL on Twitter, who works media for the Blades: "Wicked with the puck. Great skater, strongest asset is his play making, can dangle with ease. Easy top 6 forward."
Any idea when he'll arrive on campus? He appears to be the real deal!

Jacob Kamps had two goals and two assists in Pembroke's 5-2 win over Smiths Falls.
Alex Esposito had a goal in Youngstown's 3-0 win over Muskegon.
Max Kaufman had an assist in Langley's 4-1 loss to Chilliwack.
Orca Wiesblatt had an assist in Brooks's 6-3 win over Camrose.

The AJHL regular season ends and thus two brothers' regular campaigns are at an end!

Ocean Wiesblatt - FW - Brooks Bandits
Stats:
14 GP, 3-2-5, 22 PIM

Not a whole lot of PT. But consider, he's only 18, and there's a lot of veteran talent on the Bandits who finished the regular season with a staggering 51-5-4 record. Being around that winning culture should help for when many of these guys go to college and he's given a bigger role.

Orca Wiesblatt - FW - Brooks Bandits
Stats:
30 GP, 6-6-12, 59 PIM

The second-youngest player on the Bandits, 17-year-old Orca saw a lot more PT than his older brother. He came on strong at the end of the season with points in five of his last seven regular season games.

Apparently there is a third brother named Ozzie playing in Bantam that is considered to be a high end prospect by the WHL.

So both of these kids are coming to UVM?
