Daigle was decent.. O'Donell (18) was better than the night before but the bar is low. Massie (Massey?) was terrible. Muscoby to me has always been decent. Hamilton wasn't great or terrible..BTW O'Donnell is slow as **** out there..

Irwin had a couple great plays that set up big chances, Shaw seems to lead the team in shots on goal from just insdie the blueline.

The bright side of all the suspensions is we got a chance to see alot of the newcomers.

Massie had some awful plays.. I did like Colton though..

You are right it was 37 not 27 on that play, sorry Orbi my mistake.

Hate it when there's an off-weekend during the season! Anyway, anyone have any early thoughts on UNO next weekend? They're a team that handled us pretty easily in two games at the Gut last year. This time we're on the road and without some key players, so it might not be pretty. Then again, the Cats did come away with an unexpected W at Clarkson. But, then again, so did UNH last night. So who knows.....

Nice to see the game on NESN friday. Don't really love the ASN coverage, but looks good on the TV!

Praying for a split and excited to see the new goalie get a game.
Hopefully the boys can relax a bit on the road and pull one out.
Can not wait to see their new arena from last year as well.......It's nice to dream.......

I wonder why Sneddon went with O'Donnell for the start of 3v3. And why was Colton on the bench? And Shaw was coasting for the entire play hoping someone would pass him the puck.

Just started to type that I thought a second OT was ridiculous when UNO scored. Oh well, entertaining game and good play by the Cats. Was impressed with the play of Lekkas. Never been much of a Santa fan, so I'd start him again tomorrow.

.....because he thinks he is good. He is wrong and it cost them in the O/T combined with Shaw being typically casual. Too bad. Lekkas was fine.

So USCHO shows the game as a 4-4 tie. What is considered the actual outcome based on the 3v3? I like the announcers do not know the new rules or NCH rules.

I do not see how protecting yourself from getting creamed into the boards when you have the puck from a player leaning backward and sliding into you is a 5 minute major and game
misconduct.. Is Hamilton just supposed to turn into a noodle there and take the hit?

For the purposes of the NCAA, only the 5x5, five minute OT counts. Anything done above and beyond is used for conference points or, in this case, for gits and shiggles. This game was officially a tie.

Maybe that is why O'Donnell was out there, but I don't think so.

Loved the effort by a few of the guys out there last night!
Blocking shots, diving, crashing net (luckily no calls there!), it was nice to see.
A few plays were too defensively casual and a few d-men got schooled 1 on 1 a few too many times.
Also an interesting lineup....NO Lee or Coughlin stands out to me.
Maybe coach is putting trust in a few other guys?

I bet alot of Omaha fans had a big surprise when they saw the score this morning wasn't 5-4.

My 2 cents....if the result doesn't count why play it, unless its a 4 team tourney and someone needs to advance.

Alot of scoring so far in these 3 games without those 3 scorers. Goals spread out as well not just one line.

5 minute major was a joke Omaha player was just caught unready thought he was going to lay Rob out. Young D played
well the rest of the way with only 5 guys.

Regarding the 5 minute major: If Hamilton didn't stand up as he hit him I don't think it would have been a penalty. Checking 101.
