Utica University 2023-24: The Rebuild????

Ray wins! 50.4-49.6% out of 1840 votes.

Congratulations Ray!

Good deal! I'm sure the other guy is good as well, but I've never listened to him.

So it's Outen with his .945 vs. Roberts, who's been terrific, too.

I like UU in a close one, and I think that an AL is fairly safe, even with a loss. Stevenson being #14 PW doesn't hurt.

Great call Fish! Onto nationals!

So we're cautiously optimistic about this draw right?

Like on paper it looks really good, maybe the best out of the 3 East teams that got the bye

All I got to say is if Utica can't beat either Plymouth State or Cortland, at home no less, there is no hope for the Pioneers.

If they do, the semifinal round could be the toughest of them all having to potentially go up against Hobart.

A Long wait until Utica and Hobart play their first games after the bye. No discounting the possibility of either team losing their first tournament games, but if they both succeed and meet in Hartford , it will be like having 2 finals. Looking forward to the possibility.

0% chance Utica beats Hobart. Heenan gets out coached again. Enjoy the next few weeks.

Same guy who tried to say Heenan might get fired last year.

Also this post almost a year from you aged well:

Also what’s next with a senior loaded roster? How do they reload? Do they take a step back next year? Maybe they reload by telling kids d1 even though those kids wouldn’t be part of the bigger picture. Example Lindenwood and Stonehill

Plymouth St. looked strong against Cortland, but it was on home ice. Utica should prevail this week and make it to Hartford, but it won't be easy . I also think Hobart needs to focus on Curry as they obviously can play away from home.

Curry definitely impressed me in Geneseo.

Agreed. Curry played very well in Geneseo. They looked fast, skilled and able to play physical when they needed to....and they had solid goaltending. Without a doubt, Hobart has their work cut out for them...but I am guessing they know that already.

I also think Utica has a legit opponent coming to their barn. I mentioned previously that I would not be surprised to see the PSU Panthers knock off Cortland. I think this year's Plymouth State team may be the best they've put into the tourney. I wouldn't sleep on Plymouth State this year. I doubt Utica will...I think the "ghosts" from past years keep them focused and that they grind it out and get through to the final four.
