National polls did not punish Clarkson at all for the beat down at Yale. Guess they think it was a one-off.

Well they pounded Brown the night before and seemed to run into a hot goalie on Saturday. Believe they outshot Yale 2 to 1. Just one of those games I guess which is why I left them in the 3 spot. Being the defending champions buys you a spot or two but another loss next weekend and they can kiss the 3 spot goodbye.

Not much HE cupcake talk this season, though NE and PC must be laced with something pretty potent.

What the top ten teams in the poll are thankful for...

1. WisconSIN - That their safe spaces, not only have playdough and coloring books, but have Wisconsin aged white cheddar cheese snacks as well... Oh and gray-headed, lactose-tolerant, thinner guzzling fans.
2. Minnesota - Pots and Pan, Shamwow, Zoom Boom, and the Brownout
3. Clarkson - Transfers and that a wall wasn't built on the Canadian border to keep Canadians out.
4. Northeastern - An easy schedule so far and a Swiss forward.
5. bc - That they get to practice against the best players and that BU has turned into a whoopie pie.
6. Ohio State - The Muzzinator, a Swiss goalie, and Darth Vader approved 3rd jerseys.
7. Providence - Hey, they're just happy to be in this poll...Nuff said.
8. Cornell - Big Red chewing gum...Yeah and that they're not toothpaste.
9. Princeton - The magician and of course, Minnesota Recruits.
10. St Lawrence - A win over their main rival and that the bottom of the ECAC can assist in padding their record
