Amy Winehouse solo is an overhyped screech owl, but this is great.

Coming from someone who truly enjoyed BTB, I would put the contribution percentage in this vid as Specials 95% & Amy 5%. However......Auto-play queued these guys. I'm hooked

Perfect ratio. Maybe a tad too much Amy.

If you want to mainline the screech owl, here she is. Judging by the arousing funkiness and dirtiness of these cuts, Amy would have made an amazing one night stand as long as you had access to broad spectrum antibiotics.

BDP was good, but not THAT great.

Re: USCHO Music Thread 4: Songs She Sang to Me, Songs She Brang to Me

Gearing up for a few concerts and shows in the coming months:

7/21 Janelle Monae (Boston outdoors)
7/22 Foo Fighters (Fenway))
August - Book of Mormon (boston)
September/Labor Day weekend - Pearl Jam x2 (Fenway)
October 6 - Hamilton (boston)

Eclectic sounds coming out of my car these days.
Also, a little bummed I couldn't convince the hubs to spring for Luke Bryan at Fenway this week (but not so disappointed since the crowd of annoying, drunk faux red-neck Bostonians is highly unpleasant)

Watched a couple of episodes of Luke Cage, season 2. Episode 2 features Gary Clark Jr: If Trouble was Money; Bright Lights. Dam that's good

Re: USCHO Music Thread 4: Songs She Sang to Me, Songs She Brang to Me

Norah Jones: Come Away With Me
Norah Jones: The Fall
Florence + The Machine: The Hunger
The National: Sleep Well Beast
Outkast: Aquemini

Bought this a few weeks ago, vinyl lp of course, still sealed after 28 years.

Strange, but I just can't see this Steve Earle, and the Steve Earle of today as being the same person. I just can't seem to reconcile the two, they just seem like two completely different people to me.

** - I was so disapppointed with this album. It has my favorite massive attack song (teardrop) but the rest of the album was such a letdown.

Re: USCHO Music Thread 4: Songs She Sang to Me, Songs She Brang to Me

Apparently, you did not like Tragic Kingdom.

Re: USCHO Music Thread 4: Songs She Sang to Me, Songs She Brang to Me

Got Spotify because the hubs has a subscription. I am LOVING it. Have access to tons of music that I already know and love AND have discovered "Peaceful Piano" playlist, which I listen to for hours at home and at work.

Did you have to take out a loan for Hamilton tickets? I'm hearing the prices are insane.
