USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

I do think RGIII or Matt Ryan has more potential than Stafford but I also feel like I give up more to get RGIII/Ryan than Stafford.

I do think that getting Jackson back along with Stafford is pretty big. I think Jackson is going to have a pretty solid year.

SJax will have a decent half year. Until his back goes haywire again.

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

Well, needless to say, I figured I was done for this week when I look at who I'm playing on Friday morning, and see that he has Peyton Manning and Demarius Thomas. After yesterday though, I'm only down by 30, and I have LeSean McCoy and Arian Foster left to go tonight, against his Ryan Matthews. So I think I have a decent chance of winning this one yet.

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

Well unless Houston forces a turnover, gets a sack or allows a point, I'm gonna lose by 0.25 pts. Crappy start to my season.

McCoy pulled his weight, but Foster came up short of what I needed, and I lost by a few points. At least I made it a game after being down by 70 points after Thursday.

Went 4-1 in my ESPN leagues. My selection of Eli Manning at QB really paid off. Even though they lost he put up 450 yards and he and Cruz combined for 57 points. Excellent start to the week.

Remember that the week starts early with NYJ-NEP this Thursday.

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

Vick Ballard (IND) out for season with knee injury in practice yesterday, according to ESPN's bottom line. Just in case any of you might have him in as a RB2 or flex player.

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

Loving Giovanni right now. First off, he wins my game, second of all, he's looking pretty good when he's got the rock.

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

Won with both of my teams convincingly. Gio Bernard helped me rally (I only needed 10 with him and Antonio Brown going.) I got Eddie Royal in both leagues.

Eddie somehow escaped our draft. He'll go for a high price this week. I drafted Gio as my first RB.

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

So I have Josh Freeman as a backup (favorable matchup for ARodg's bye week; that's why). Well, that ain't gonna work now. Was thinking about Pryor, but oops, concussed. Do I take the chance on him playing, anyway? Or *SHUDDER* get Ponder? Yes, that is how thin the QB FA is in our league right now.

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

Is Romo someone that you can stick in there for a week because Cam is on a bye or am I in trouble?

Assuming every team has two QB's, I'm going to guess that these are the available QB's in your league

Christian Ponder (PIT in London)
Terrelle Pryor (WSH at home, Q)
Blaine Gabbert (IND at home...we'll call this "last resort")
Jake Locker (NYJ at home)
Brandon Weeden/Brian Hoyer (CIN at home)

and either:
Geno Smith (at TEN) or
EJ Manuel (BAL at home)

If Pryor can't go...I'd go (Smith), Ponder, Weeden/Hoyer, Locker, (Manuel), Gabbert. Which means if Pryor can't go...you're pretty much screwed.

Re: USCHO Fantasy Football 2012

Just checked. Flacco is somehow available.

Put a bid on him. Pryor, hurt. Ponder, hurt, Freeman, benched. Yeah, wonderful.
