I came up with 29 just by screwing around for the last 2 hours. Guess it wasn't as hard as I thought (that's what she said).

I will make my selections by August 24th, and send them another poster that is not participating in the pool. Once I send off my list, I will make a post telling everyone to start sending me their lists. Eligible people include the list I posted earlier, plus anyone else you can think of. They just have to be famous somehow, you have to be able to prove it, and they can't be on death row. You cannot kill anyone on your list and still get points for it, in fact, if you kill anyone on your list, you will get -100 points. Animals are not eligible. If there is a challenge to the fame of someone on your list by a fellow competitor we will just go to a majority vote of all entrants, on whether the person is eligible. If they are deemed ineligible, you can replace them with anyone of your choosing, that is NOT on another person's list, since you will have seen all lists by then. You will have 2 days to challenge someone else's choices after the lists have been posted, after that, they're set.

Scoring:
We will score each death by using the person's age. You will get 90-AGE points for each person on your list. Which means, if an 85 year old on your list dies, you get 5 points. If a 92 year old on your list dies, you get -2 points. There will also be a bonus for if you are the only one to pick a certain person's death. 50 bonus points will be awarded in this case. The winner will be the poster that accumulates the most points in 1 year time.

The contest is over on August 31, 2011 at 11:59 PM.

Start putting together your lists, and I'll tell you when to send them to me.

I love the fact that we need to stipulate that we are not allowed to kill someone on our list and collect the points. :D

My favorite part of the major DP's is the penalty for killing someone is a one year suspension from the game.

Got my 30, just waiting for the flag to drop and hoping none of them does first.

I just need to pick 3 more, then I'll send mine off and have you all start to send me your lists. I should have it done sometime today.

Ok everyone, I got my list done, and I sent a copy of it to Beer Pong Horn.

You can start sending me what you have for lists anytime. Send them to bigblue_dl2@yahoo.com, not the email address linked to my USCHO account, I don't need all the lists sent to my Blackberry, which is where my other address goes.

Lists must be in my email inbox by 11:59 PM on August 31st in order to count.

Any and all posters are welcome to participate.

I have a google spreadsheet to keep track of teams, I already put my team and DL's team into it. Right now I'm just tracking names and ages of each choice. Also, if you have someone on your list that has a pretty common name, or shares a name with someone else famous, try to specify which one you are referring to. DL had one that was questionable, but I'm sure I got the person he was referring to, so no big deal there.
