USCHO Dead Pool

Re: USCHO Dead Pool

Yeah, send them to me. No biggie. I got several lists last night but haven't gone through them yet. I need to get to a computer and put it all in a spreadsheet still.

Re: USCHO Dead Pool

I haven't forgotten about this. I wasn't able to compile the lists I got after I left work on Wednesday until today, and I'm waiting to hear back on an email I sent to ExileOnDaytonStreet to clarify one of the names. After that Shirtless Guy wants to put the names into the same format spreadsheet as we used last year.

For some reason, my phone is being a dick about logging into gmail, so I'll answer your question when I get home.

Re: USCHO Dead Pool

OK, I sent the lists off to Shirtless Guy so he can do his new fangled computer stuff to them and make them easy to figure out. I didn't check all of the ages for every pick, so there may be some that are not correct. We'll just have to double check ages when someone dies, and make sure the correct age is in the spreadsheet at that time.

Just as last year, after Shirtless posts the picks, you will have 1 week to dispute any of the picks if you don't think someone is famous enough. There were no disputes last year, and there are only a couple that I think could possibly be a problem this year. If a pick is thrown out, it is as simple as picking someone else to replace that person.

Wow. You basically went with killing off all the good people?!

It wasn't intentional. Besides, obvious "hate" picks like Courtney Love never seem to die. :p

I start by trying to think of people who are either seriously ill, or have a major drug history (even a distant one - Fuhr may have been a cokehead in the 80s, but nose candy puts a lot of long-term stress on the heart). After that, I shoot for unique 'old fart' picks that my generation may not think of.
