The names highlighted in the yellow are on multiple lists.

Some things I want to mention:
3W turned in the list with 10 minutes to spare, and only had 29 on his list. Since the deadline is now passed, and I didn't have time to give him the option to add one more to the list, I just left him at 29.

Names that have ?? in the age column are people that I either couldn't find an age for, or there was some confusion about which person with the same name I was supposed to be picked. If you have ?? in your list, please clarify.

Some names that I have questions about:
jerphisch - Mike Starr (the guy from Alice in Chains or the actor?)
jerphisch - Lewis Hamilton (racecar driver or soccer player?)
I think that is all of the names I had questions about, if anyone else wants to know which person a name is referring to, ask, and we'll get it cleared up.

Also, if there are any names that you don't think are famous enough, mention it within the next 2 days and we'll have to make a decision. After Thursday night at midnight, all picks are set.

Melmac takes the cake with the pick that is worth the most amount of points, by picking Bindi Irwin, who is 12 years old and worth 128 points.

huskyfan probably gets the most value out of a pick by picking Doloris Hope who is 101 years old and worth 39 points.

Nelson Mandela, Phyllis Diller and Zsa Zsa Gabor are all worth negative points, since more than 1 person picked them.

3 people picked Mary Kate Olsen, while only 2 picked Ashley Olsen.

Shirtless Bob tempts fate by picking Chuck Norris.

A couple quick Google searches yield for my picks that:
MSNBC Sports Writer Mike Celizic is 62
Musical Composer John Williams is 78
And Blagojevich trial juror holdout JoAnn Chiakulas, is listed as a "retired State employee", so I would estimate her age at 60 or 65.


And da**, I tried to go against the grain a little bit; I'll see how the gamble works.


*edit* So I'm skimming through the lists, and I'm reading a few names and going "wait, s/he's not dead yet?!?"

3 generations were picked when Kirk, Michael and Cameron Douglass were all picked.

Martin and Charlie Sheen were also selected. Sadly, no one picked Emilio.

mel: I nearly threw in a Cantore pick, good call. He's bound to get clocked by some flying timber one of these days.

How are ineligible names being handled? are we just tossing them and rolling with shortened lists? (like an invalid lineup card)

If we think someone is ineligible, I originally said that the poster would be able to replace that person with someone not an any other list, within the next day.

edit: we already have 2 lists trimmed to 29. 3W only sent me 29, and he sent them right before the deadline, so I couldn't ask for another name. and I stupidly picked someone who was already dead. :o
I'm OK with leaving these at 29, if everyone else is, otherwise if the consensus is to pick another name each, that works too.
