I've seen a pamphlet from USAHA stating that players must attend their District TRyouts to be eligible for eith the U18 Select 66 camp in Maine or the U18 camp in St. Cloud. I'm not sure how this can be truly implemented though considering the following District Camps haven't even occured yet (dates from USHA pamphlet):
- Northern Plains (Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota & Wyoming): April 30 - May 2nd
- New York: May 15-17
- Pacific (Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon & Washington): June 13-18
- Rocky Mountain (Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas & Utah): June 13-18
Considering the U18 Select camp starts on June 27th I can't imagine that they could wait until June 18th to send invites?

SELECT 66 USA HOCKEY CAMP INVITES

Breanna Scarpaci-D (SSM)
Laura Lundblad-F (ECW)
Taylor Girard-F (HB)

That's a pretty sad commentary on MI girls hockey - 3 of the 4 players invited to national camp play for out of state club team....

Might be the best strategy when you're playing without a goaltender!Looks like the 98s will be employing the "Reverse Flying Wedge" where one of their 3 forwards heads down ice, the D zone protected by 4 of their 8 defenders.

What's the hold up with the districts that have all ready had try outs? Why hasn't New England or Massachusetts announced?
