Re: US National Teams: U30s & Mrs. Potter, U22s, U18s Part II

Am I missing it or do they not post full stats for these games? Plus/minus, shots, face-offs, lines, etc.?

Re: US National Teams: U30s & Mrs. Potter, U22s, U18s Part II

Shots are listed in the provided links (though they weren't posted on the scoreboard at the U18 game). But because these are more along the lines of "international friendly" matches (to use a soccer term), it wouldn't surprise me if the other stats aren't closely tracked.

For the U18 game, we did get a hard-copy line sheet just before the start of the game. I don't have Thursday night's on-hand, but could share it and tonight's (Friday's) when I get home after the game.

Re: US National Teams: U30s & Mrs. Potter, U22s, U18s Part II

I was looking for individual shots, +/-, face-offs, lines. I'm sure they are tracked, looks like they are not released.

Updates from Sunday morning action:

U18s: Canada 4, USA 4 - Canada wins shootout 2-1 in 7 rounds. Canada was up 4-1 late in the third period and the US squad came back with a wild rally to tie things up and force overtime and then the shootout. Box score not yet available.

U22s: USA 4, Canada 3 - Like Friday, Canada let a 2nd period lead slip away. They were up 2-0 when the US scored the next three. Marie-Philip Poulin scored shorthanded to tie the game 3-3 in the third, but JLam scored the gamewinner on the same power play to complete the US sweep. In the U18 game...

Lines were:

Sydney Daniels-Dani Cameranesi-Grace Zarzecki
Cara Piazza-Taylar Cianfarano-Amy Menke
Taylor Williamson-Kate Schipper-Megan Wolfe
Fiona McKenna-Andi Anastos-Christine Vetter

Defensive pairs:
Kristen Padalis-Sydney Baldwin
Gracen Hirschy-Jincy Dunne
Melissa Samoskevich-Jenny Ryan

Alexis Shaw started in net, and Sidney Peters came in with 10:06 to go in the second period. The swap was to give the goaltenders as equal time as possible.

Down 4-1 pretty late in the third period, Jincy Dunne launched a bomb from near the blue line and ricocheted off the far post and in to make it 4-2. Gracen Hirschy then made it 4-3 with another goal, and Cameranesi completed the comeback with a goal-mouth scramble and an extra attacker.

In the shootout:

CAN - Hannah Miller - miss (lost puck, no shot)
USA - Grace Zarzecki - miss (save by Newell)
CAN - Ashleigh Brykaliuk - GOAL
USA - Taylor Cianfarano - miss (save by Newell)
CAN - Catherine Dubois - miss (hit pipe)
USA - Jincy Dunne - GOAL
CAN - Hannah Miller - miss (save by Peters)
USA - Kirsten Padalis - miss (save by Newell)
CAN - Emily Clark - miss (shot high)
USA - Jincy Dunne - miss (hit pipe), but goaltender moved early - RESHOT
USA - RESHOT - Jincy Dunne - miss (save by Newell)
CAN - Ashleigh Brykaliuk - miss (lost puck, no shot)
USA - Kate Schipper - miss (shot wide)
CAN - Karly Heffernan - GOAL
USA - Dani Cameranesi - miss (save by Newell)

How long is OT? Should games like this really end in a shootout?

It was only 5 minutes of 4-on-4. I agree, they should let them play longer.
