New Latvia goalie. That won't matter.
And now a Canada player takes out a Latvia player by smashing him the face. Gotta love the cheapness despite a 4 goal lead. 2 + 10min penalty.

Canada is taking the body all over the place, while Latvia appears afraid to for some reason.
You're not going to beat Canada by not hitting at all.

It appears that the only team left to stand up to the Canucks is the US. The Finns and Swedes certainly didn't in their exhibitions.

Wow, Sweden beat the Czechs 10-1 earlier.
This Canada game could be worse.

Pretty weak crowd for this game. I know its Latvia, but I thought Canadians packed every game in this tournament.

I'm going with 12-0 at the final whistle.

Latvia is as horrible as Canada is good.

11-0 after two. I at least got a little enjoyment out of watching Henrique unexpectedly slam himself face-first into the glass after that last goal.

Maybe cutting this down to an 8 team tournament isn't such a bad idea. I don't know how much development "lesser" nations get with these kind of poundings.

Of course the Czechs looked almost as bad, so maybe a 6 team tourney in the future:p

Canada just skates into the zone unmolested. ;)
