Re: US Junior Team cuts

Does anyone know a good link for the US game online? I know it hasn't started yet, but all the links I find are crap.

Re: US Junior Team cuts

Kristo gets hit high in the first shift. No call. Crowd loves it.
Zucker hits a Slovak player high a few minutes later. 5min major. Crowd boos the "dirty" US players.

Re: US Junior Team cuts

That was a clean hit as far as I'm concerned. If that moron didn't have his head down, he wouldn't have to worry about taking that shoulder to his face.

Re: US Junior Team cuts

Nice to see that Happy is his usual xenophobic self. Funny next year there is going to be a Euro on the Gophers if he doesn't just go pro. Cause your favorite teams sucks so bad. :p

Yeah, but I'd redirect Happy's statement you quoted to say this:

There's no mystery to the fact that Hockey Canada discourages top tier Canadian players from going to the NCAA (See the Toews brothers among a PLETHORA of others). They've had a history of stating that, going to a US college could harm the Canadian's chances of participating in a Hockey Canada sanctioned team event (such as the Team Canada WJC team).

Add onto the fact that Canada rarely has more than 2 or maybe 3 NCAA players on their team. THIS isn't bad. It isn't bias either. Look, Major Juniors is the PREMIER amateur hockey in Canada. So why wouldn't Team Canada's WJC team be filled with them?

When an American skater chooses the CHL over the NCAA, that's fine. All the more power to him. But expecting to be on Team USA because he draws so much interest from Canadian teams is ludicrous. Also, expecting Team USA NOT to reciprocate (as immature as it is) is also ridiculous.

Just don't expect too many MJ Americans on Team USA like we don't expect too many NCAA Canadians on Team Canada's team. It's that simple. And yeah, again, they are that superficial.

Re: US Junior Team cuts

Yeah I've been stream searching for the past 20 minutes. Got nothing. Tried to download the TV Ants software, but wound up with nothing (other than a couple of viruses most likely).

Re: US Junior Team cuts

Going by how the US looks now, they will get killed by the Canucks. Canada made very few mistakes, where the US is making many small mistakes...breakout passes, clearing attempts, etc.

And now US scores. 2-1 now.
Crowd doesn't like that (although not many people in stands).

Well, that's the whole country of Slovakia, right? ;) :D

Jesus, that was a great little rush by Schroeder.
Announcer:

"He can be a difference maker when he wants to be."

Exactly. That rush looked better than anything I've seen of him in the Gopher sweater this year.
