France is close to electing Putin ally LePen. If that happens France could defy EU sanctions and return to business as usual with Russia and Putin; could cut aid to Ukraine at a minimum.

I see the fearmongering has started already. I remember the rumors Le Pen was going to beat him last time too. The Left will coalesce and win, though it will be closer than it should be but that is more on Macron.

Telling your people you're gonna raise the retirement age to 75 is not a good way to get re-elected.

Especially if you're supposed to be the Left.

Twitter allows that?

In general, Twitter has a laissez faire attitude regarding ponographic content. Most sex workers/models/e-girls who post NSFW content across their paid platforms (and amateurs who post similar) can post content to Twitter without the censorship they get from Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, etc.

As for the obvious illegal acts like the Russian and the child, the lack of an extensive moderation team means that some vile content can leak through.

It's still miles better than 4Chan.

Keep in mind, Twitter has a very good moderator team. It's just not actively policed by them. The report feature is very quick to jump on banned content of any kind. It's a little slower for things like hate speech but illegal acts and personal info gets yanked fast if it's reported

I have no idea how long it was allowed to circulate as I certainly wasn’t looking at it

No one cares about adult porn but rape of a kid? They should be hung for allowing that to circulate.

I know many Francofiles will shiver at this, but France's treatment of minorities during WWII wasn't exactly glowing. More was done to protect Jews in most other countries, let alone the number of participants in the malice- so France's history isn't exactly glowing WRT minorities, immigrants, and human rights.

France still doesn't...neither does England. They must need more political parties ;^)
