Correct, and Transnistria would also like to align with Moscow, but is politically stuck with Moldova.

I was in an Indianapolis hotel in 2006 on a work trip and the desk clerk had "Moldova" on her name tag (she was also a 9, because Moldova). I started talking to her about Transdniestria and she looked like she would have left her job and followed me anywhere. I assume 99.9% of Americans, and 100% of Indianans, had absolutely zero idea about what Moldova was. Perhaps some goth thought it was Moldavia.

Anyway, if Ukraine split as in the graphic, Transdniestria could just latch on to Russia because it is directly adjacent. Everybody wins.

Maybe we can unload the American South on Putin while we're at it.

Pleasant surprise does not constitute sexual interest, Kep. :p

It does if you're a European stuck in Indiana.

Presumably she married some upper-middle class old dude to get stuck there, and was looking for the earliest opportunity to put strychnine in his Metamucil.

Or, she was a secret operative for the KGB, trading sexual favors with high level mid- western GOP operatives in return for information.

If that's the case she drew a really sh-tty assignment. Although I assume she could have run into Mike Pence there.
