that's a good call. So if you think about it in all college hockey that's one name, and that was my point. I don't want to put too much in expectation on Zemgus. He will definitely help, but he isn't likely to a savior.

Jonathan Toews was 17 his entire Freshman season (didn't turn 18 until after the Frozen Four). He was alright. :)

Chris Herron also was 17 his entire freshman year. Lost to UND in the '97 NC game a week before he turned 18. Good college player, tho not in Toews' league. I do recall hearing there were regrets that he didn't spend another season in juniors.

I think we should give Milo (and his dad) 2 cents for all of the whining they have been doing since
he left. Must be tough to be a sucess when everyone is against you.

Are they also suing the Yankees because they made him unable to play defense and hit at all???

Crawl back in your hole boys you are just embarassing yourselves....again.

I was also wondering on what ever happen to Milo and his NYY playing career,did that get derailed by his attitude also..? He was a good player,never knew the ins/outs of why he was canned from the UVM Team...and on a different note you should be in good shape with a player like Zemus Girgensen,this should help in the rebuilding process...that and if you can solve your goaltending...always like & want to see a strong Vermont team in Hockey East play. Hockey East strong from top to bottom makes for a great season.

After suffering as a Cornell fan living in VT during the Perrin-St. Louis hysteria, I've not had much love for UVM, but you truly have my sympathy on the Milo thing. What a putz - sorry for dumping our leavings on you...

If our suspicions are correct, Milo's dad used to post here, fairly prolifically, using the name "GrantFan." He always had some pretty wacky things to say, particularly when it came to Sneddon. Once Milo was dismissed from the team, that was it, GrantFan was gone too. Based on the stuff he used to say, I'm not surprised to hear of this lawsuit.

Not good news at all. I believe he can report to the Rimouski camp, but he would have to pay his own way if he wants to retain his NCAA eligibility. Here's an interesting thread on a USHL forum about Deluca at the Cedar Rapids tryout camp:

Pretty sure he has posted here under a couple names UVM93 is one that comes to mind.

Is Ian Spencer still coming in the fall ? Just 36 games in the past two seasons in the USHL and not on the Indy roster at season's end.

hes a 1994 birth year. He would have had to accelerate by almost two years..
