Matt with 71% at the moment.Ok Sioux fans remember to place your Hobey vote every 24 hours.
Another day means another vote for Matt or Chay.I just voted did you?

Maple Leafs are also showing their support for Matt.
http://mapleleafs.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=549341
There are 68 Hobey candidates and Matt was getting 68% of the entire vote.
Now he is down to ONLY 60%.
Seems that Chay with a respectible 5% needs more votes.
Given how much complaining I heard about having 5 less ounces of beer at the Ralph last year. I cannot imagine how negatively this would effect Sue fans if passed.

Nice.
My team was similar.
Goalies: JPL, Parise, Eidsness
Dmen: Bina, Chorney, Genoway, Hale, Jones, Schneider
Forwards: Bochenski, Duncan, Frattin, Parise, Oshie, Spiewak, Stafford, Toews, Zajac
The greater our society's problems become, the more our sniveling and self-righteous "politically correct police force" looks to exacerbate them further by imagining "pain and suffering" where pretty much none exist. I'm convinced that these morons wake up each day with one purpose which is to look high and low for something that they can take out of context, blow up out of proportion, rip out of the American fabric or cudgel a legislature into submission with. I have no doubt that these fools think this absurd and hollow gesture creates the outwardly appearance that they actually care. Ironic that the majority of one tribe wanted the name to stay. Political correctness is a debilitating disease much like alcohol, recreational drugs and gambling can be when addiction takes over.
Washington Post article on nickname issue:
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/jan/17/fighting-sioux-on-warpath-over-nickname
Despite the fact that the article has the politically incorrect word "warpath" in title there are some very interesting comments from readers.
I liked this one the best:
I guess the gophers took the wind out of your sails.
Vote for the All-REA Decade Team!
http://www.fightingsioux.com//quest...SPID=6405&DB_LANG=C&QID=96813&DB_OEM_ID=13500
Here was my ballot:
Goalies (3):
Lammy
Parise
Eidsness (He has won a MacNaughton and Broadmoor so far)
Defensemen (6):
Bina
Chorney
Genoway
Greene
Hale
Jones
There were a lot of excellent choices that had to be left off. I could have picked 10.
Forwards (9):
Bochenski
Duncan
Frattin
Oshie
Parise
Stafford
Toews, Jonathan
VandeVelde
Zajac, Travis
There are a ton of great choices. I'd rather pick 2 goalies and 10 forwards.
Anyway, I thought this would be fun to discuss over the next few weeks. There has been a ton of talent to come through North Dakota in the last 10 years.
Ouch!![]()
Well, pleased with the result tonight. I didn't get to watch much of the game due to huge buffering issues with fightingsioux.com's webcast and the fact that it wasn't on DirecTV, but from what I saw and heard, we played better than last night, specifically on the pk. With DU leading 4-1 going to the third, we'll most likely be 1 point behind them going into next weekend's trip down to the Springs, and tied with Duluth. A sweep would be huge for MacNaughton purposes, along with momentum for the last 1/3 of our conference schedule. After the Robert Morris series, I was hoping for 4 wins from the UMN, UNO and CC series. The only way to accomplish that is by sweeping the Tigers. It's doable, but very difficult. Prior to last year's sweep, we hadn't swept CC in the Springs since '99.
I'll be at the game on Saturday, so I'm excited for that. Hopefully a strong performance and win on Friday (game will be on CBS College Sports) will set us up so I can watch us sweep on Saturday. It would be key for momentum. Anyway, pleased with the result tonight, and glad to see our pk unit back to its normal form. Now we just have to shore up our PP so we don't give up so many SH goals.
