Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

All I remember is when Hak let him back on the team because UND was struggling big time....I mean because Frattin did all the right things.

He is a dirty player; just ask Kevin Wehrs....who cares how many goals he scores....college hockey will be a better place when he is gone!

You are so much less cool than Jockstock. You are just so whiney all the time. Way less fun.

So one hit makes him dirty. Yep you are still clueless.

Like usual you bring nothing but drug influenced jibber.

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

If Frattin had played the whole season last year there would have been a pretty good chance he would not be here this year.

It's just a great story seeing someone make the absolute most of a 2nd chance and turning their life around.

If I had to use one word to describe him it would be Focused.

Dude I see you're off your meds again, either that you're using some really pumped up illicit drugs... Frattin is far from being a dirty player, I am sure the Gophers would love to have a player as talented as him. What a buffoon.

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

...spent most of his time away from the team laying concrete....

Then returned back to the team in great physical shape! Any local concrete laying jobs available for the rest of the team in the off season?:p

Also Frattin's freshman class stayed with the program thru their senior year. Whereas UM's program seems to be a revolving door. :)

Just seems odd that Minnesota born an raised recruits that play for North Dakota show more loyalty to their program than Minnesota recruits that play for Minnesota. :D

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

I'm not sure what arena they would play in, especially in the WCHA. There is Maysa Arena, which doesn't seat all that many, and then the All-Seasons Arena which supposedly seats 3,900. Perhaps it has been renovated, but I always thought that it seated about 2500 or so. Saying that, the All-Seasons Arena is pretty old, and I would think that if they were going to go D-1, they would need a new arena. The oil money is pretty big in Minot, so I would imagine that they could probably get something suitable for the WCHA built.
I got an email reply from the MSU hockey program today, the All Seasons Arena seats 4,100 for hockey with standing room for a few hundred more.

Might not be such a good thing in Kristo's case....The way he is playing this year, If I were a Susie fan.....I would be wishing he went pro already. Like I've said all along he is 1/4 the player that Schroeder was at the U....stats don't lie. ;)

Admit it, you are a Sioux fan.

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

Congrats to Derek and Brock for making the WJC team! This kind of experience will really pay big dividends for them next season, and maybe even during the 2nd half of this season.

Obviously you haven't been watching many Sioux games.
Kristo has been playing very well, just snakebit in the goal scoring dept.
He'll come around...

That's not too bad. I still think they would want a new rink if they went D1. The ASA would be a perfect fit in the CCHA though.

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

OK fine! Check out these Jordan Schroeder Stats.

No stats yet! The great Jordan Schroeder:rolleyes: hasn't had a sniff at the NHL yet! How could that be?

He should have stayed in school! Or perhaps he should have played for a different school if school didn't work out for him.:D

You can find Schroeder's stats here at the Manitoba Moose site. Jordan isn't doing all that well scoring 5-8-13 goals in 25 games. I think Jordan would have been better served by staying in college...

Yeah, I agree they would still want a new arena to really be competative. The ASA lacks many of the luxeries that are found in most of the WCHA rinks, in addition to being on the small side for seating.
