Been saying these things for years. Early and late in periods. Defense just unable to clear a puck past the blue line. Miscommunicatons and no one at our own point for clear set up passes. Why is it most of our shots are from defensemen and a good percentage of them blocked and go the other way? Poor decision making, passing when they should shoot and shooting when they have a man to pass to open. We have created some cahnces for sue but we have given up far more and are fortunate that Michigan has not taken advantage of more of these. They seem to be right on us with their forecheck and our defense gets confused or perhaps a little panic and turn the puck over. Not one pretty goal all night.

Would normally agree, but i did see some signs of fatigue in the Michigan players at times. if we are to get back in this game we must get them in the first 5 minutes. We are certainly not strong enough to push them off the pucks tonight so we need to open up with a lot of speed and hope they are a tad tired from the Union game last night.

WaP joking about what I said on the season thread: League learned Tironese can win faceoffs, so he now gets thrown out of all of them.
