Union Hockey Offseason Thread - That was fun...

Re: Union Hockey Offseason Thread - That was fun...

Thank you for your support. I'm sure you'll do the same for us.:)

Two years ago, I pick you 8th, you make it to the tournament.
Last year, I pick you 10th, you make the Frozen Four.

You just WANT me to pick you dead last, don't you? ;)

Got my brochure yesterday as well. I'm surprised there's no early bird deal like last season but $150 for 15 games still isn't that bad. And we should be thankful that there's no $65 seasonal parking fee on top of the season ticket package (like at RPI).

If you enjoy providing motivational support to us, who is going to complain?;)

Well maybe that's because there is no seasonal parking. The complimentary season ticket holder parking exists in name only. You need to get to the game an hour early and even then there may not be any spaces available.

You could always park in North Lot behind my old dorm room... ;)

Of course some of us would rather you parked at GE so we wouldn't have to deal with you. :p:D

Yeah, I was just saying, not having to pay for parking on top of the tickets makes it an even sweeter deal. I've found that getting down there close to 90 minutes before the game is usually a successful game plan.

We're usually down there by 5:30 and eat dinner in the Student Center. By the time we're finished, it's 6 o'clock and time for the doors to open.

We have no life.:)

The parking fee is optional....and is pretty stinkin handy when its snowing/sleeting/hailing sideways. Folks can (and do)park in the neighborhood around HFH. That's said, at $255 for full price '12'-'13 season tickets, RPI continues to jack up the price.

I've never had a problem street parking around HFH and it's usually a lot easier on the egress. Part of the problem at Union is that there are frequently overlapping games like basketball or volleyball either with other college teams or even local high school games. Also, the street parking is a lot more problematic.

Union is only playing 15 home games?
