If you decide to buy your tix at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office, there are no fees involved. Ticketmaster fees online are near ten bucks a ticket, so buy at the door, it will not even be close to a sellout.

Yale is at full strength with the return of their goalie. In their last season game against Cornell, Yale took Cornell apart for all three quarters and the 2:1 score was not a reflection of how one sided the match was. We are again giving away 15 - 20 lbs and 2+ " per player.

This size issue is not entirely accurate. Several of Yale's bigger players don't play much or are goalies. Yale's forwards, except for Laganiere (who is huge and talented), are mostly average to smaller in size. Yale's d-men are definitely bigger than Union's, but given that skating speed is important in defending the Eli's quick forwards, that is not a bad compromise. Overall, Yale is not one of the bigger teams U has faced this year and certainly is not as big as Dartmouth was.

U's biggest issue with Yale will be matching their speed and preventing them from hogging the puck. They are playing with a ton of confidence now that Malcolm is back in goal for them and U likely won't get any softies like they did in Schenectady. But if the boys play like they have of late, should be a great game.

Good call. I think there are also scalpers outside on the boardwalk selling tickets for around $10. The arena will be empty and you can sit wherever you want.

Actually Yale was without Weberg last weekend due to a concussion, I have not heard of his status for Friday

Union sells out ECAC Hockey championships ticket allotment

If you are a Union hockey fan and are thinking about seeing the Dutchmen in the ECAC Hockey championships this weekend in Atlantic City, the only way you can purchase tickets now is through the Boardwalk Hall box office at (800) 736-1420, or order online at www.ticketmaster.com.

The Dutchmen sold out their ticket allotment. The bus transportation and ticket package sales also have been completed.

At the suggestion of U ticket office we bought upper bowl tix which they said had superior sight lines. IIRC you could pretty much sit anywhere last year. Without Cornell in the mix I am guessing this will be even more lightly attended than last year.
