Union Hockey 2011 Off Season Thread-"Union, We've Paid Our Dues"

Re: Union Hockey 2011 Off Season Thread-"Union, We've Paid Our Dues"

Gingras seems interesting. Good size (6'3/190) and it looks like he once committed to Maine for the 11-12 season. Son of a former NHL'er, Gaston Gingras.

Kevin Patrick, then the coach of the Muskegon Lumberjacks, said this about Sebastien in a 2010 article:

“He’s a power-play type defenseman. He definitely brings an offensive element to the game. He brings great skill to the position and we’re real excited about what he’ll bring to the offensive part of the game.”

This is a great pickup.. I don't know what happened with Maine, but this kid has size and offensive ability. Has pretty much been a point a game player with Brockville in CJHL. Here is his bio on the CJHL website.. pretty impressive and sounds like he is a good student too!

As feared, Mike Ingoldsby continues to suffer from post concussion syndrome and is not enrolled this semester. There is some hope that he may return to school for the winter trimester. Very unfortunate for him and I'm sure we all hope for his full recovery.

Adam Presizniuk (Trenton Titans), Corey Milan (Elmira Jackals), and Brock Matheson (Stockton Thunder) will start the season in the ECHL. Congratulations to all three and best of luck in the pros!

Are you trying to tell me that Bodie will be better than Koudys? Really. The kid suited up at 17 years old. Rated in the top 100 skaters in North America. Tell UND that draft picks don't make good players.

yes he will be...
