You'd rather have the Dutch lose to RPI than lose to a couple of TUCs in Atlantic City!
Trust us, it worked out for RPI last season![]()
..and to set the record straight, Union would have finished 1st without any help from RPI. I'm happy for Appert and his players that they had a good final weekend in what has been a tough season, but it's not like RPI made Union a first place team.
Sigh.. I would expect RPI folks to be better with numbers than that.. Union & Cornell would have been tied for first at 32 points.. yes, for seeding purposes and the Cleary Cornell would have had the first seed, but both teams would have ended up in 1st.False. If Cornell had won, you would have been in a tie with them for points. Due to your head-to-head matchup (3 points for Cornell vs. 1 point for Union), Cornell would have received the top seed, and you would have received #2.
Once again, you're welcome.

I am grateful of course for his good fortune and I think it's pretty cool that a senior gets to store that kind of play in his memory bank. For an award starved program like Union's the Cleary Cup is a notable achievement but it has developed to the point where it pales in significance compared to a conference championship or an NCAA run. When the Cleary Cup banner is installed at Achilles, a picture of Pat Cullen should be hanging beside it!

Attended the hardware presentation last night at Bomber's. One down, two to go.![]()
Just hope Brown doesn't win their series with Q-Pac.![]()
I see your line of thinking, however, if the same logic holds true for RPI, your boys will be cleaning out their lockers on Monday.....![]()
SLU - Dartmouth too close to call?I'm expecting RPI to be the lowest seed left and thus Union's opponent next weekend.
12 BROWN/5 QPAC... Brown doesn't beat anyone but Union and they haven't won a single game since beating Union on 1/21. QPac just beat Brown on 2/24 and enter the playoffs on a strong note (one loss in final 5 regular season games). The Bobcats protect their home ice well, going 11-3-3 on the year. QPac sweeps.
11 PRINCETON/6 YALE... Yale enters the playoffs on a 4 game unbeaten streak, a period which includes a 5-2 win over Princeton. Yale is 2-0-1 vs Princeton this year and Princeton has just one win in their last seven overall. Yale sweeps.
10 RPI/ 7 CLARKSON.... Think this one is going 3, but see RPI coming out ahead. Clarkson has struggled of late, going 1-3-1 in their past 4. RPI is riding high after road wins over Cornell and Colgate. RPI has a 6 game road unbeaten streak.
