If anyone is interested, BU is playing RPI on RPI TV. We play BU on Jan. 3rd on NBCSN.

An interesting game (BU/RPI). A lot of individual talent at BU, but not clicking as a team consistently; burst of great plays, followed by a bunch of lows. RPI played their game, but kept bumping into the BU goalie (outstanding performance by him, too bad his team let him down at the end of the game). BU's power play is a dangerous thing, very dangerous even : if you let them setup, they will score. Lots of hit too, we'll have to be ready.

The ECAC took a beating in OOC play this weekend, 1-5. Might have been worse but we got an assist from the flu bug.
We (ECAC) have dropped to 3rd, just .001 in front of HE. who is in 4th.
HE was 3-0 against us, scoring 9 goals to our 2

38-35-8 OOC when counting OOC against league opponents
37-34-4 OOC when not counting OOC against league opponents

Who is helping > or = .500 in OOC
For these 8 teams, their OOC record is an outstanding 29-12-2

HARVARD 4-0-0 as of 12/14/2014 Remaining NC - 3

You forgot a NC game for Union and RPI. ;) Unless, for some reason, you're not counting non-conference games between conference opponents.

Kinkaid goes for his first NHL win tonight when the Devils host Tampa Bay (7 pm, MSG).

It will be Kinkaid's third NHL start; the first two were good, but each ended in 3-2 shootout losses.

We have seen more of Roy (6'4") and Light (6'5") the past few games. Any feeling around whether or not that might continue? We seem to have two very good lines with Wilkins, Vec. Foo, Scarfo, Novak and Champ. Would be great to get the other two lines involved.

Another 3-2 shootout decision tonight for Kinkaid. But this time he's on the winning end and records his first NHL win.

In seven days we return to action at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridegport in the Frozen Holiday Classic against Connecticut. Have we ever lost in the Webster Bank Arena? I think we won there the last 4 times we played. Not sure before that. Connecticut is very dangerous and very tough and alwasy plays us very tough .... tied us the last two years and the last three times we played them and we were lucky to come away with the ties. They have the added incentive in that this is the first time for this Connecticut Tournament.

They have defeated or tied 5 ranked teams

Defeated Q handily
Defeated BC
Defeated Vermont
Tied BU
Tied Merrimack

They are doing it with defense and good penalty kill. Their sophomore goal tender has some good numbers. They have not played since December 3. We need to play 60 minutes and keep the pressure on offensively or we will end up as another trophy for this years Huskies. For some reason we never seem to do well in these holiday tournaments. I will check with Santa ... :) Maybe he can give us some tips? :)
