Unreal game and an unreal night for anyone associated with Union.
The real question now is this: even with a loss tomorrow have Union done enough to get into the NCAA?
I know, I know, lets win. And I am all for it, but I think Union may deserve an at large entry win or lose.
Next question: who is in goal? i assume the frosh but I have seen stranger things....like Union in the finals!!!
Hard to tell on TV---what was the size of the overall crowd?
And speaking of warm, next years Frozen Four site? Tampa, FL!!

YAAAAAYYYY! That was fun to watch, although the second period was a snoozer.
I think Union only gets to play next weekend if they win. They don't have enough games against TUC to swing more pairwise comparisons.
Any tickets still available?

Yeah baby!!! Union couldn't sniff the ECAC semifinals as recent as three years ago and now they're in the finals.
I agree with Chef in that the 2nd period was a snoozer (until about 25 seconds left). I thought Union played a bit on the edge. Pretty sound defensively, but they made some bad turnovers that they were able to recover from. Kinkaid was excellent and I don't think there's much of a question that he's the man tomorrow.
This seemed like the way they've been winning - opportunistic, especially when the WPMVT line has been shut down. Even so, Presizniuk still got one of his classic tip-ins as the game-winner.

I'm pretty sure there are tickets available, although they did announced that the box office would be open for ticket sales after the game. I thought the place had a decent crowd, but of course not capacity. I think it would take another Frozen Four there to fill the place for hockey, and that's not happening soon.
Every time they announced that the ECAC Tournament would be in Atlantic City next year the whole place booed.
Re our cowbells - we were told by the TUC that the ECAC has a policy against noisemakers and could we please only ring them when Union scored? We heard cowbells in the Union section as well as cowbells in the SLU section.

This is one of the greatest nights of my life. Top 20 for sure. If we win tomorrow, then tomorrow night instantly becomes one of the best nights of my life. Top 10 for sure. For now, let's celebrate the victory!!! See you all tomorrow as we play for the ECAC Championship and a bid to the NCAA Tournament!!!

I was apologizing for the student presence. I felt terrible that there weren't more of us there. We were as loud as possible though...I just hope I have a voice for tomorrow.
I could not have been more happy with the Union attendance in general. It seemed like we took up five sections!!!

We were surrounded by Cornell fans, and they don't have a sense of humor about cowbells. Just because ours are the biggest and loudest ones around that I've seen. Tomorrow will be interesting when we play Cornell. We might scout around and see if there any vacant seats in the Union section. That's what we get for being proactive and getting our seats in November.
