What a peice of work. I've been having fun with Union people all year, a good bunch of guys. I'm sure they understood my jest about Kinkaid. Anyhoo, what's a good place to have a beer and a sandwich before the game tomorrow ?? Coming early ! Should be an awesome game ! (If your team's still playing) Oh myy !!

try katie o'byrnes on erie blvd or the van dyke on union street. both are great places for a beer and a quick meal.

#1 its Van Dyck...and I wouldn't go there unless they redid it since I graduated in 06. Its more of a sit down with someone for a little while place, not a grab some food before a game kind of place. I'd recommend Bombers right on State street across from Proctors. It's owned by a Union alum '97 too. Good food reasonably priced and you can get in and out real quick, we went last Saturday prior to Lion King and got right at the bar (it is upstairs) and ordered some beers and some food and were out of there in time for the show. I'm partial to Pinhead Susans over Katie O'byrnes for irish bar. Its on the Union side of the train tracks.

innocent typo and it had new owners these days. good food, quick service everything from paninis, burgers and pizza to full dinners. something for everyone. also a good bar with a great beer selection.

Scotti's on upper Union is good for pizza and other Italian fare. Can eat in.

Pizza King down by city hall has the best pizza in the city, imo. fast, cash only, and a ton of options. The Van Dyck has greatly improved over the last 2 years and is a great place if you have a bit more time before the game. You can't go wrong with any of these options.

Stay away from the if necessary Sunday hotdogs at Messa, they used to be Friday's. :D

It's killing me to be here in Dallas at a conference instead of back up there getting ready to see this series. Time to close out the home portion of the season with a big exclamation point. Hope to be seeing the team again next weekend in AC.

Yeah, I'm stuck at work in NYC. Couldn't make it up there. I have plans to go to AC next weekend but Union needs to get through Colgate first!!
