You take the play-by-play tonight, sir! 😄

Will do what I can - heading to CC/Minn soon, myself, but will be watching on my phone...

Also just learned this is Fall Break weekend at Miami, so that is certainly contributing to the disappointing crowds as most students usually bolt for the weekend...

Re: UNH Wildcats 2019/2020 Ready to Rock and Roll!!

Great start to the season for UNH special teams - currently 3/7 (.429) on the power-play and 5/5 (1.00) on the penalty kill, after going 2/3 and 4/4 in their exhibition, respectively. Will go a LONG way towards a successful season if they can put up numbers anywhere close to this consistently...

Checking other box scores UW leads MC, 2-0, with the second goal credited as an empty-net, power-play goal - which, I’m guessing means a delayed penalty against UW while on the PP, resulting in MC putting the puck in their own net...

EDIT - NM stat entry error

In other HE misery, check out UConn’s start to the season, woof...

1-0 end of 1, 10 saves for Robinson...

That makes sense. Even campus was dead.

Meanwhile, scheduling gods working against UNH fans tonight. Football at 6pm, Hockey at 7 and #13 soccer at UMBC at 7. The latter can be seen for free, the only one of the three.

UNH 10-7 over #22 Stony Brook early in 3rd.

Sato now has more goals this weekend than he had in his entire career to date...

2-0

Dan, I wonder if we were both wrong about who the biggest blowout victim would be!

Not to sound like a broken record but, counting the exhibition game, UNH is now 6/12 (.500) on the PP and 11/11 (1.00) on the PK! They obviously won’t keep up these paces all year but please please let special teams be a huge strength this season...

Re: UNH Wildcats 2019/2020 Ready to Rock and Roll!!

He’s gotta be in the running. And the kid plays with great intensity. After he got decked and recovered last night, he was a missile.

Looks like his shooting has finally caught up to his blazing speed....what a surprise weapon he could turn out to be this year if this weekend's games aren't a fluke.

Yeah, I think this weekend counts as it’s gone so far. Great to see UNH playing so well, meanwhile, Miami looks so lost...

If they keep up this special teams play there may be a few more victims than anyone could have expected, this season...

Miami scores two in a row and UNH finally gives up a PP against. We’ve got a game after all...

Oops, got ahead of ourselves. 3-2. ES and PP goals for Miami

Re: UNH Wildcats 2019/2020 Ready to Rock and Roll!!

Wow tough finish to that period. Need to regroup. 3-3.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2019/2020 Ready to Rock and Roll!!

3-3 now....crap. Miami not rolling over and playing dead.

Edit: Football leads Stony Brook 17-14, 9:06 left in the 4th

Re: UNH Wildcats 2019/2020 Ready to Rock and Roll!!

Happier news from Long Island - football defeats Stony Brook 20-14! UNH and James Madison are the only undefeated teams in CAA conference play. :) :)
