I know it was a typo but Snively 65 knows that Snively opened in February 1965. My long time theory surrounding the mania at Snively during the early days, through the early 80's really, was the lack of alternative entertainment in Durham back then. Fewer kids had cars back then, there was no internet, there were no cell phones, in fact there was no cable TV. You could enjoy yourself, especially on the weekends, but for a lot,of students, weekend nights got,off to a rousing start with a visit to Lively Snively.
Nailed it. Even in the horrid late 80's/early 90's, we very much looked forward to being in the barn.
