Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

When I was at UNH, Global Spectrum was in charge of the building but I think UNH took over the management within the last ten years...

UNH Campus Recreation manages the Whitt. these days. As a former student intern with the Athletic Department there has been a huge disconnect with the campus rec. staff and the athletics's staff ever since the take over.

Coach U and Grayson D chat it up about Friday's game v Dartmouth:

Also info about the current lines (which, as you know, I consider most important ;) )

Goalie chatter:

Curious as to who will start in goal; am guessing Clark? After reading this article makes me wonder...guess we'll find out Friday!
Hoping our ice is ready to go and we are too!!! Go 'Cats!!

I wonder how long ago this list was put together before it was published? I hope not like MLB at the beginning of the season.

What I have always pondered in my short hockey fan career is who puts up said candidates...last year it was easy to vote, heck TvR this year...not sure who I would vote for although I did cast my vote for a HE player to keep it in the family. Still, how much does the fan vote 'count' anyway?

Vote for Max French and Andrew Gladiuk. :D

Dave’s pick: The Friars extend their winning streak to eight games leading into a huge home-and-home next week with Lowell.
PC 4, UNH 2

Ouch.

Two important games for sure. I like how Umile characterized tonite's game as the "smarties" versus the "blue collars."

UNH would go a long way turning this season around if they could pull off a couple of W's. Wudda, cudda, shudda!!

From the Union Leader article.
Gaudet said although UNH and Dartmouth are no longer playing an annual game at the Verizon Wireless Arena, the teams will meet in the regular season at least through the 2017-18 season. Dartmouth will play UNH in Durham next season, and in Hanover during the 2016-17 season.
UNH will be one of four teams that participates in Dartmouth’s Ledyard Bank Classic during the 2017-18 season.

Anything to avoid the dreaded "lost season" label would be nice! And speaking of that, since it was mentioned in this edition of HE picks...what would constitute a "lost season" anyway? Regardless of how we turn out when all is said and done I just don't know if I can go there but guess we'll see! Looking forward to getting back to the Whitt tonight!! Onward 'Cats!!
