Coach Stewart just said Pesce will be OK, but we probably won't see him Tuesday.

any particular reason both your games against providence are at home?

I think all the schedules have those quirks. Both Merrimack are away. Last year was the reverse. I think it's the notre dame curse of scheduling.

Two on the road vs Notre Dame, two on the road vs Vermont. Got to balance the schedule out so our series with PC and Merrimack are both at home.

Last season was the opposite.

Did you see what happened to Pesce?

We saw him get caught up with a stick was tripped and I believe there was a penalty on that play? I got my nerve up and asked Coach Stewart how he was at the FOMH event and like Aerman said we won't see him Tues but he would be back. He (Pesce) wasn't in the team autograph event as you'd expect. BTW Coach Stewart was very well spoken; talked about being glad he was here at UNH etc.

I think I saw you stand before I read this. Now I can't find you!

Grey UNH sweatshirt, white hat.

After Coach Stewart spoke I went down stairs to do the team autograph being the fan I am 😉 sorry I missed you! Maybe the next event..

Josh Seguin
Umile said UNH has lost Brett Pesce for a while. Will have an MRI this week. Mentioned ligament or cartelege in the leg @chnews @JoeMeloni

**** just what we need...sigh. Also wondered why Gilles didn't start guess he had some team violation?

Needed to get Ellis work...why not against a weak opponent? ;-) I honestly have no clue why he was in there

EDIT: I see Josh said Gillies had a violation of team rules.

Here are video clips of Brett Pesce getting injured:

and in slow motion:

I didn't notice it when it happened because Pesce got back up and subsequently made two passes at the blue line. Hopefully, his ability to put some weight on his left leg bodes well for recovery time.

UNH PP now 54th overall (3 of 37); only Lake Superior State, PC, N Dame, Sacred Heart, and Wisconsin worse.

On a more positive note, Chuck may clinch home ice before the holiday break, if he keeps winning the SOG contests, as he did again tonight.

Nothing succeeds like success and the only way for UNH to get out of this funk is to string together some W's. Maybe they should cut down on the SOG'S!!!

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

CHN recap from the biggest UNH slant ever...PC didn't get any bounces either as Clark was a rebound machine all night

I do agree both teams didn't have the bounce but I thought for a change the actual truth about what UNH is going through was well said. A young team searching for its identity. Now without its defensive leader Pesce this will be even more apparent. But of course it really doesn't matter except to us who support them their state of being as what's important is the W column...which, alludes them right now. Onward 'Cats!

Solid ice, but a lot of "snow". State of the art barn. Fantastic hockey arena.

That's cool you had the chance to be at Yost Arena! They sure have an awesome jumbotron  ! I tell you the minute I win powerball....haha
