UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

Speaking of UML, they beat and tied Quinnipiac this weekend. Agosta had 2 goals and an assist.

And, LaLeggia is 0-0-0 after 2 games at DU, but Vecchione is 3-6-9 after 4 games at Union. Will be interesting to see how these three do this year.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

My concern is that purported USNH Blue is showing up all over the UNH Athletic sites. e.g. I listened to the UNH/Michigan games on the Michigan feed .... guess what color blue was assigned to UNH .... bright blue. It has even seeped into the UNH Athletic web page. Take a look at the "decorations" at the football field .... don't look like dark blue to me. The sage would only cover up the insult to tradition and what that dark blue means to a lot of people .....

You are right. Now that you mentiin it, the blues at the football field are not the dark blues, nor are the new logos. Dare I say BS35 needs to take note or is this a Huddleston issue? I like the tradion of the dark blues on the away sweaters.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

I was being facetious. Realistically I think UNH is trying to go all in with the new blue. I don't plan on owning anything with the new blue or new logo. Let the free market decide.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

For the 8 millionth time, UNH asked him for one more year in the USHL and he balked. No team offered him so he did exactly what UNH asked in the first place but he had already severed ties. Good for him that he is playing well but UNH was right and he was wrong which is reflected in his play. You make it sounds like UNH pulled their offer which was not the case. Nobody here is rooting against him. It simply is what it is.

Most of us were also pretty vocal about our disagreement with not only how the UNH staff handled the decision, but the decision itself. I think you're barking up the wrong tree. I can't blame you though, you were finally right about something so you have to squeeze out every last drop!

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

Poturalski is a sleeper in your freshman class. I watched him from 2 years in Cedar Rapids and his Hockey IQ is off the charts and the 2nd year he spent in the USHL will make his jump to NCAA hockey that much easier. Great kid and will be a great 4 year player for you.

I don't know how much of a sleeper he is - I've had high expectations for his arrival for a long time. I think this freshman class finally puts UNH back on the track its known for - deep, talented & high-scoring forwards all over the ice. I think Poturalski, Eiserman, Foegel, McNicholas all hit the century mark before their UNH careers are over (Eiserman might be an early departure threat)...

Hopefully Eiserman will play this weekend; it was reported in an article that he left the game Saturday with a head injury...And YES..we are excited about this Freshman class!! Hopefully an update soon about Shane's status (as well as Furgele) for this up coming weekend v CC:

From the UNH Insider:

The Wildcats battled through some adversity during the weekend.

Freshman defenseman John Furgele left Friday night’s game with an ankle injury and Eiserman left Saturday’s in the first period with a head injury.

Onward 'Cats!

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

This thread is becoming unreadable. So many posts are either cheer leading or troll feeding.

Sorry if I sound like an old fart, I could just do without all the smiley faces and "Go get 'em boys" after every comment.

Oh yeah, and nice result this weekend. Don't think too many of us would have predicted that.

Ok, Chuck, HR, Darius, wildcatdc, and e.cat, no more smiley faces.

Hard-core analysis from here on out!!! God forbid that a team's thread include some positive thinking (if only to offset the thread's title).

Is it okay to underline words? Ya know, they teach you how to underline in college!!

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

I think y'all oughta just carry on as usual. ;)
One person out of 100 at the club likes his steak well done  and everybody at the club has to eat their steak well done?
That's BS. I like my steak rare so that one person can kizz my azz. :D
Just throw the sumabeetch outa the club so everyone can Live Free or Die. :) :p
