Now 4-4 end of 2. They are back to their regular playoff mode... Giving up a goal as a failed 5 on 3 ended and another with 6 seconds left in the period. Hope they can win this one.

Had to run to the laundry room when they reversed the 5th goal - what happened?

I sit front row behind the scoters booth. It's seemed like the refs were pointing at the 2nd guy who crashed the net. Either they called that he interfered with DeSmith or that he was in the crease. But they spent a long time talking it over. Either way we are now goin to overtime. And the boys seemed like they had a little more life at the end of the period. Time to dig deep and put one more in the back of the net!!!

Hubby thinks men in the crease...NU playing a very disciplined game that's how they clawed their way back into it. We're missing passes here and there. But here we go to OT....Let's Go'Cats!!!

Radio guys just stated the last time UNH played an overtime game in HE quarters they lost to BU 5-4 in double OT in 2011. I believe that UNH was up 4-0 in that game. Uh-oh! I hope I'm wrong...

Unfortunately, I wasn't, NU wins 5-4. Waiting for the fire Umile thread to start up after tomorrows game.

had a chance to really move up in the power, 4-2 lead in your own building , said it before 500 team wishing wasn't the case but facts are facts. Get the fire umile threads warmed up, fat lady warming up.

all is not bad

vechionne had 1 goal, 2 assists and was +3 tonight. hit 30 points, all ecac rookie team and first line center.
but the downside is he doesnt get an agricultural degree

Two years later and you are still bitter. UNH asked him to wait a year which is exactly what he ended up doing anyway. I guess UNH did him a favor since he won't end up being a farmer according to your foolish logic. Get over it.

I cant get over how they blew their chance at outside shot in NCAA, would have moved up to 15 with all the other losses, now their done stick a fork in them .

Radio guys said that DeSmith left a lot of pucks in front for rebound opportunities all night long. Sounded like the first line tried too many extra passes on several odd man rushes? Just shoot the puck! No excuse for not getting more quality shots on nearly 2 minutes of 5 on 3. Good to see Tyler Kelleher score a couple of goals the past two nights. Not sure what else the Cats can do tomorrow, as I think that the Huskies have more talent.

If my 5 years of French serves me correctly It means the more things change the more they stay the same. Or put it this way...same stuff different year! I'm keeping the faith...disappointed of course but have come this far and will see this through! Let's go 'Cats!

Keep the faith baby. Three of the QF's go to a third game! So we get a bonus game at the Whit. So who's going to advance? I'll go with UNH, UVM and ND. UNH wins in reg, the other two games go to OT!

I wanna puke. How do you let up 3 unanswered to lose it in OT. Just a disgraceful form of hockey out there for the second half of the game.

Was very psyched for Kelleher we didn't get many extra chances couldn't clear it out of our zone very well...but frankly I am not of the opinion NU has more talent per se. I do think their keeper played well and Roy had a much better game tonight. Just my observations. Heck we scored 4 goals; things seemed to break down after the penalty shot I dunno. Sometimes the thing you couldn't overcome all year bites you in the end. Love to be proved wrong tomorrow...come on 'Cats!
