nice game tonight! well done
nice game tonight! well done
Well played. I hate the fact that you have to play another HE team to move on.....nice game tonight! well done
i'm counting on all you wildcat fans to make the verizon rock...unfortunately i have the second shift tonight and am on call tomorrow so you guys need to step up..
enjoy....
So now what do I do? Superstition says to stay away from Manchvegas since they won tonight...I just don't know....but a lovely situation to be in!! Way to be Cats!!
Great effort the last 50 minutes of that game... Really a dominating performance over that period of time. I want to be optimistic but an already uphill battle is going to be even tougher without Downing and possibly Goumas. Those two Guys really drive things offensively for UNH And as strong as Lowells goaltender is... But an effort like today gives you hope
wait what happened to downing ...
Missed last 20+ mins after taking a shot up high...prob also to the head. I would imagine that is another reason that Umile flipped his lid when goumas got hit in the head

hmmmmm didnt see that , our pro hockey east annoucers didnt breath a word...
Way to represent. I can't see you guys winning tomorrow with the way lowell is playing, but I hope you do.
Will be a real, real shame if either of those guys can't go tomorrow.
Seriously, how do we solve Hellenbuck(sp)? His numbers are insane! Watching Lowell transition on Wisconsin, to try and put traffic in front of him leaves the back checking weak....
Man, oh man. I hope they're OK -- first, for the sake of their health, and then for the sake of the team. I was watching the puck when Goumas got hit, and on;y saw him hit the ice. It looked scary for a while, as he wasn't moving. I also didn't see Downing get injured -- it was probably at the far end of the ice, and my view was somewhat obstructed by the curved glass (I had wondered why I hadn't seen him on the ice for much of the game.) Beating UML will be a challenge with a complete team; losing a couple players such as Goumas and Downing only adds to the challenge.just listened to the press briefing , goumas and downing will be evaluated tomorrow morning by the team dr's
At the very least it's a fascinating contrast in styles. You have one team which plays almost no defense vs a team who scores goals almost as an afterthought. Don't be fooled by tonight - Wisconsin was AWFUL. I think this shapes up as perhaps an epic game, and with two teams whose fans can "walk to the Verizon" (cue Barry Melrose), it SHOULD be packed and crazy (although after tonight I am really starting to wonder what we have to do to gets fans into these games).
And I'm sorry, but I have to say this. And the BU fans have heard me rant about this for three years. If you're going to go to a game and sit on your hands, why bother? I saw several shots of UNH fans just standing there after their team was putting the game away. Do you think maybe you can at least SMILE if you're not going to cheer (I'd be on my feet screaming like a madman)? Has this country gotten that down? Is everyone depressed? I know the economy is bad, but jeez, there's no enthusiasm anymore. The comment about "I'm not impressed with the fans in the East" from the other thread has merit...
