UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

I imagine there only a few people in Hockey East who don't want to see UNH get a title. Despite the rivalries, it's never good when one team is consistently good during the regular season and flames out (or chinks a crossbar) in the post-season.

i agree and the few mostly i would think would be Maine fans understandably ...........

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

Brown will win it before UNH does

No, no they won't.

Brown gave up more goals to UNH in a game less than a decade ago than they had wins in 4 of the last 5 seasons. UNH has a better chance at winning the ECAC championship than Brown does.

I think its safe to assume neither UNH nor Brown will win one ever. :)

Seriously, though, I think UNH gets a banner one of these years. It was there's to lose in 1999 and if not for an epic Minnesota team in 2002/2003, they may have grabbed one of those, too. I'm surprised to see they haven't been in the Frozen Four since 2003. For some reason it doesn't seem like 7 years since they were in it.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

My father, a Dartmouth man, taught me nice little saying about Brown:

"What's the color of horse sh*t?
Brown, Brown, Brown"

If your father is a Dartmouth Man and you are a UNH guy, he is clearly also a "disappointed man".

As will you, when your future children fail to gain admission to Brown and have to settle for CCRI. Dolt. :p

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

or when they fail to get into Harvard and have to settle for Brown....

You graduated from "Durham High School". You know as much as high education as you do about NCAA hockey championships.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

Huh? Could someone please translate the second sentence?

Good Lord, I meant to say "You know as much about high education as you do about NCAA hockey championships". I knew posting on a UNH thread would lower my IQ. I didn't think it would happen so fast. :)

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

Good Lord, don't you mean higher education? :p

Glad to see Mumzy and Daddy's tuition dollars paying such high dividends for your esteemed Brown education. They must be so proud of you.

Now run along and get me a beer. :p
