UNH needs a soccer net. 3 or 4 chances on the EN and they keep missing.

This is fabulous, we're back to the good old days when the only good sports news on weekends was UNH hockey scores.

The HFB that tossed the UVM kid, I don't think he was being really malicious, but still the right call. Beck's head went into the glass first. It looked bad.

The elbowing penalty on UNH was weak, but understandable. The thing that amused me was there was a fan that was throwing up his hand asking for 5 minutes for it, haha.

I think Umile called the timeout when he did because Butler completely goofed on the icing play. He chased the puck to the UVM zone, then was looking to make a pass (scanned the zone to see who was going to the net) before he ever touched the puck, and then it was for icing. It was stupid. You're up 3 goals, just negate the icing and go from there. Good timeout call by Umile :eek:

UVM pulled Madore w/3:45 left in the game, and did an excellent job of sustained pressure in the UNH zone, but most of their plays were on the outside. Good job by UNH not to panic, and when they did get the puck they made sure to get to the redline before taking their shots at the empty net. I like it.

Solid win for UNH.

Oh, and UVM has the worst PP in the country, not just hockey east. Eep, so they got 2 of 3 on us. But glad that's all they got.
